OUR VISION

Hermeus is an aerospace and defense technology company founded to radically accelerate air travel by delivering hypersonic aircraft. These planes will fly five times the speed of sound  – turning a seven-hour trip from New York to London into a short 90-minute flight. Our process emphasizes a hardware-rich, iterative approach that accelerates development while driving down costs.

OUR CUSTOMERS

In addition to our commercial vision, Hermeus is working with the Air Force and other government organizations to develop uncrewed, high-speed aircraft for defense and national security missions. Hypersonic aircraft represent a major step change in defense technology, offering unprecedented speed, altitude, and maneuverability.

OUR TEAM

Hermeus has more than 200 employees across four different locations in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Jacksonville, FL. The team is composed of world-class talent, including experts from startups, leading airplane manufacturers, top defense contractors, and the U.S. military.

The factory

Atlanta, GA
Hermeus headquarters. This 110,000 sq. ft facility is home to our primary engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
THE SHOP

Los Angeles, California
Where much of our hardcore engineering and analysis work takes place as well as smaller, highly complex component and subassembly builds.
HEAT FACILITY

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Our High Enthalpy Air-breathing Test facility is where we will test a variety of engines and propulsion subsystems – from the Pratt & Whitney F100 to our proprietary hypersonic Chimera engine.

Our centrally-located DC office allows us close proximity to key policy makers and DoD leadership.
